It's the title of the one and only album recorded by Burn Disco Burn--one of my favorite Iowa City bands from college.
This is the link to their myspace page (still works).

Listen to Seven Kinds of Summer first. It's not on the album, but oh how I wish it was.
I believe their album is still available on iTunes.

Maybe it's just me (and my friend Raechel), but Nick Burd's voice, the lyrics, the melody; everything really, just hits me right in the heart.
Ahem, you seem to have forgotten another important Nick Burd fan...... but don't worry. I ain't mad atcha.
ReplyDeleteRemember that "make out with me" song? And remember THOSE LIPS?
Good times.
ahh good memories, that was a total high for me, beer in hand, live BDB, and Nick 2 feet in front of me (remember that ass is more like it, g!). i think the optimist club, i always finish what i start, and longitude and latitude are my favorites. GOOD stuff. still waiting for CD #2, which, judging by Nick's current success as a writer, will likely never come... *sigh* We were the super fans, i still have the DI article about them!!
